Responsibilities
- Develop evidence-based health policy recommendations for state legislative initiatives
- Analyze healthcare data and regulatory impacts using advanced statistical methods
- Coordinate cross-agency health programs with federal/state/local partners
- Prepare comprehensive policy briefings for legislative stakeholders and public hearings
- Monitor emerging public health trends and recommend adaptive strategies
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $500K+ annually
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ACA, and Virginia health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Policy, or related field
- 3+ years government policy analysis or healthcare administration experience
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for statistical analysis
- Expertise in Virginia's healthcare regulatory framework
- Superior written/verbal communication skills with policy writing samples
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred
- Experience with CMS 1500/UB-04 claim processing systems
