Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform program strategies
- Coordinate community partnerships with healthcare providers, nonprofits, and local organizations
- Develop educational materials and lead outreach campaigns for diverse populations
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and funding agencies
- Supervise program staff and volunteers to ensure quality service delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program coordination or community health
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R)
- Experience developing community health interventions and grant proposals
- Valid Indiana driver's license with reliable transportation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health reporting requirements
