Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health education campaigns targeting diverse populations
- Collect, analyze, and report epidemiological data to inform program strategies
- Coordinate emergency preparedness initiatives with community partners and stakeholders
- Manage grant-funded projects including budget oversight and reporting
- Conduct community outreach and needs assessments to identify health disparities
- Train and supervise public health interns and volunteers
- Represent the department at community events and interagency meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and compliance management
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse communities
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
