Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to deliver health education
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and resource allocation needs
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate emergency response initiatives for public health crises
- Prepare detailed reports for government stakeholders and the public
- Supervise program staff and volunteer networks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public program coordination or healthcare management
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and ability to travel throughout Davidson County
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and CDC guidelines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance reporting
- Certified Public Health Professional (CPH) designation a plus
