Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with local healthcare providers and community organizations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and resource allocation needs
- Oversee grant management and budget compliance for federally funded health initiatives
- Lead community outreach campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state leadership and federal agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in public health program coordination or community health
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS, SAS, or Epi Info)
- Valid Arizona driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
- Experience with federal grant reporting requirements (e.g., CDC, HRSA)
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English (highly desirable)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential preferred
