Responsibilities
- Oversee development and implementation of public health initiatives across Dallas County
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Coordinate inter-agency collaborations with healthcare providers and community organizations
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead community outreach campaigns for vaccination and health education
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health authorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive public health program management experience
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding applications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- US citizenship required for government clearance
