Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Manage multi-year federal/state grant budgets ($500K-$2M) with rigorous fiscal oversight
- Lead cross-functional teams of epidemiologists, community health workers, and data analysts
- Analyze health data to identify trends and inform strategic policy recommendations
- Collaborate with city officials, nonprofits, and healthcare providers on city-wide initiatives
- Prepare detailed reports for City Council and state health department compliance
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of program management experience in government or non-profit sector
- Expertise in grant management and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to community sites
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation preferred
