Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Lead inter-agency coalitions for emergency response and pandemic preparedness
- Manage grant-funded projects totaling $1M+ annually
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county commissioners and state health officials
- Oversee team of 5+ public health specialists and interns
- Advocate for health equity through policy recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years progressive public health program management experience
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
- Expertise in data analysis using SAS, R, or SPSS
- Demonstrated success securing federal/state grants
- Valid Arizona driver's license
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant health information systems
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills highly desirable
