Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intervention strategies for chronic disease prevention
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform program adjustments
- Manage program budgets, reporting requirements, and compliance with state/federal regulations
- Represent the agency at stakeholder meetings with community partners and local government entities
- Lead community outreach initiatives and health education campaigns
- Monitor program performance metrics and prepare quarterly impact reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program management or healthcare coordination
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and health data visualization
- Knowledge of Texas public health systems and Title V/Medicaid regulations
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated success in multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation abilities
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel statewide (up to 10%)
