Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health initiatives targeting underserved communities
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead cross-departmental collaborations for integrated health services delivery
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and resource needs
- Develop grant proposals and secure funding for community health programs
- Oversee performance metrics and prepare comprehensive impact reports
- Represent the department in community outreach and stakeholder engagements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of program management experience in government/nonprofit settings
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding programs
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Knowledge of Title VI and ADA compliance requirements
- Strong bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish preferred)
