Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting priority health concerns
- Collaborate with community organizations and government agencies to develop strategic partnerships
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and health department leadership
- Lead data analysis to measure program effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
- Supervise program staff and coordinate cross-departmental initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program management
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and Missouri public health regulations
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding applications
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Valid Missouri driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings/weekends
