Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and program effectiveness
- Prepare grant proposals and manage reporting requirements for funding agencies
- Lead crisis response initiatives during public health emergencies
- Supervise program staff and provide guidance on public health best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of program management experience in public health
- Valid Texas Department of State Health Services certification preferred
- Experience with data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA and public health confidentiality regulations
- Excellent communication skills with diverse community stakeholders
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency required
