Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Lead cross-functional teams of health professionals and community stakeholders
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and trends
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Prepare comprehensive reports for county leadership and regulatory bodies
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Advocate for policy changes that improve population health outcomes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of program management experience in public health
- Valid California Driver's License
- Experience with data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Knowledge of CDC/PHO guidelines and grant management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required
