Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs aligned with Denver's strategic health priorities
- Manage program budgets, reporting, and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams of health professionals and community advocates
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health disparities and target interventions
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Build partnerships with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Present program outcomes to city leadership and advisory boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years experience managing public health programs or community initiatives
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Tableau)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, ACA, and Colorado public health statutes
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse audiences
- Valid Colorado driver's license
