Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting San Jose communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and priorities
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with local healthcare providers and non-profits
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Lead community outreach initiatives and health education campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Supervise program staff and evaluate intervention effectiveness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years managing community health programs
- Experience with data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Knowledge of California public health regulations
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong grant writing and budget management skills
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish highly desirable
- Valid California driver's license
