Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships with state/federal health departments and community organizations
- Manage grant-funded projects including budgeting, reporting, and compliance monitoring
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform policy recommendations
- Lead public health emergency response protocols and crisis communication strategies
- Supervise cross-functional teams and mentor junior public health professionals
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years progressive experience in public health program management
- Valid Colorado Public Health Professional (CPH) certification preferred
- Expertise in quantitative/qualitative health data analysis using tools like SAS or R
- Demonstrated success securing and managing federal/state health grants
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CO Public Health Act, and CDC guidelines
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse stakeholders
