Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and maternal health
- Manage program budgets, grants, and resource allocation across multiple health initiatives
- Collaborate with community partners, healthcare providers, and state agencies to align health strategies
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform program adjustments
- Lead cross-functional teams of health professionals and community outreach specialists
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, CDC guidelines) and state health mandates
- Prepare reports for county commissioners and public health advisory boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Health Administration, or related field required
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in public health program management
- Proven track record of developing successful health initiatives with measurable outcomes
- Strong budget management experience with grants and federal/state funding
- Expertise in data analysis using tools like SPSS, SAS, or Epi Info
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and ability to travel throughout the county
- PH certification (CPH) or eligible to obtain within 6 months
