Responsibilities
- Analyze complex public health data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for intervention
- Develop evidence-based reports and recommendations for policy development and resource allocation
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to implement health promotion programs
- Lead cross-functional projects addressing priority public health issues (e.g., chronic disease prevention, emergency response)
- Manage grant-funded initiatives including budget oversight and compliance reporting
- Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health analysis or program evaluation
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS) and data visualization tools
- Proven experience developing community health assessments and intervention strategies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
- Valid California driver's license and ability to travel to various county sites
