Responsibilities
- Design and oversee evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and allocate resources
- Coordinate with state health department officials to ensure compliance with federal regulations
- Manage cross-functional teams including data analysts, community educators, and policy advisors
- Develop grant proposals to secure federal funding for health initiatives
- Lead crisis response protocols for public health emergencies
- Evaluate program effectiveness using quantitative metrics and community feedback
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years managing public health programs with government/nonprofit experience
- Expertise in health equity frameworks and culturally responsive outreach
- Proficiency in public health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Valid Minnesota Public Health Administrator certification or equivalent
- Demonstrated success securing federal/state grants ($500K+)
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $1M
- Knowledge of HIPAA, ACA, and CDC guidelines
