Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing health equity initiatives and emergency response protocols
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and inform strategic program adjustments
- Secure and manage grant funding for public health initiatives
- Collaborate with community organizations, healthcare providers, and government agencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for county leadership and stakeholders
- Stay current with public health regulations, best practices, and emerging health threats
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive public health program management experience
- Proven expertise in grant writing and funding management
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in health data platforms
- Experience developing health equity frameworks and community outreach strategies
- Valid Oregon driver's license and ability to travel county-wide
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex health data clearly
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
