Responsibilities
- Design and execute public health programs targeting underserved communities in Chicago
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $500,000
- Develop partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies
- Create program evaluation frameworks and produce data-driven impact reports
- Lead crisis response initiatives during public health emergencies
- Advocate for health equity policies through legislative engagement
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of program management experience in public health or non-profit sector
- Proficiency in quantitative data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience securing and managing federal/state grant funding
- CHES/MCPHE certification preferred
- Deep understanding of Chicago's public health landscape
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Valid Illinois driver's license
