Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting Dallas County communities
- Oversee program budgets and ensure compliance with state regulations and funding requirements
- Collaborate with local health departments, community organizations, and healthcare providers
- Monitor program effectiveness using data analytics and prepare detailed reports for leadership
- Manage grant applications and ensure proper utilization of allocated resources
- Lead community outreach initiatives and health education campaigns
- Supervise program staff and provide mentorship for professional growth
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive public health program management experience
- Texas Public Health Certification (preferred)
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills with proficiency in public health databases
- Experience managing grant-funded programs and budgets
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Knowledge of Texas public health laws and regulations
- Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and populations
