Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention
- Manage federal/state grant budgets exceeding $500K annually
- Coordinate multi-agency partnerships with hospitals, NGOs, and tribal health departments
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state legislature and federal agencies
- Lead community outreach initiatives reaching 10,000+ residents annually
- Supervise team of 3-5 public health specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 5+ years program management experience in government/nonprofit sector
- Arizona State Public Health Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS/R for data analysis
- Demonstrated grant writing success with federal agencies (HRSA/CDC)
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems in public health settings
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
