Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community health disparities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform policy recommendations
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers, schools, and non-profits for health education initiatives
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct community outreach and engagement activities to promote preventive health measures
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for city leadership and public stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or similar)
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel throughout El Paso County
- Strong knowledge of CDC guidelines and public health emergency protocols
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance requirements
