Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved populations
- Manage multi-million dollar budgets and ensure fiscal compliance with state regulations
- Coordinate with federal agencies, NGOs, and local health departments for resource alignment
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform policy decisions
- Lead cross-functional teams of epidemiologists, data analysts, and community outreach specialists
- Prepare comprehensive reports for legislative committees and executive leadership
- Oversee grant applications and compliance for federal/state funding initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years experience in public health program management with state/local government
- Proven expertise in health policy development and implementation
- Advanced data analysis skills with proficiency in SAS/R/SPSS
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts public health regulations and frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels
- PHR or CPHP certification preferred
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
