Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate public health policies using quantitative analysis and community input
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement health equity initiatives
- Prepare legislative briefings and testimony for city council hearings
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $1M
- Conduct epidemiological research on emerging health threats
- Lead stakeholder engagement with vulnerable populations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Policy, or related field
- 3+ years government/public health experience
- Proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, or SPSS)
- Understanding of Washington state public health regulations
- Experience with policy impact assessment methodologies
- Valid Washington State Driver's License
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
