Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Manage budgets and secure grants for health initiatives totaling $500k+
- Lead cross-functional teams of healthcare professionals and community partners
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform evidence-based interventions
- Develop health education materials and community outreach strategies
- Collaborate with city officials to align programs with public health priorities
- Prepare comprehensive reports for the Public Health Commission
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 5+ years of program management experience in public health
- Valid California Public Health credential or eligibility
- Proven grant writing and budget management expertise
- Advanced proficiency in public health data analysis tools
- Experience developing health equity initiatives
- Strong knowledge of SF Bay Area healthcare systems
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) designation
