Responsibilities
- Develop and execute community health education programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify public health trends and recommend interventions
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers to ensure accessible preventive services
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and prepare compliance reports
- Conduct community outreach and stakeholder engagement activities
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with emergency response teams during public health crises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health or community health programs
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events as needed
