Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health strategies targeting community health priorities
- Manage grant-funded programs and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses and public health crises
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform policy decisions
- Leverage community partnerships to expand health outreach initiatives
- Supervise program staff and evaluate intervention effectiveness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program management experience
- Valid Virginia driver's license
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with grant writing and federal compliance (CDC, HRSA)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Strong crisis communication and stakeholder management skills
