Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs for vulnerable populations
- Manage $1M+ budgets and secure federal/state funding opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams of epidemiologists, outreach specialists, and data analysts
- Collaborate with local governments, NGOs, and healthcare providers
- Analyze health data to inform policy recommendations and program adjustments
- Oversee compliance with HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and state regulations
- Present findings to legislative committees and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of program management in public health or government
- Experience with grant writing and federal funding (HRSA, CDC)
- Texas Public Health Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS, Tableau, or health data analytics tools
- Proven ability to manage budgets exceeding $500,000
- Strong knowledge of Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 241
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
