Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs focused on chronic disease prevention, maternal health, and immunization access
- Manage program budgets, grant applications, and resource allocation to maximize impact
- Lead community outreach initiatives and build partnerships with local organizations and healthcare providers
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health disparities and inform program strategies
- Prepare reports, presentations, and grant proposals for county leadership and funding bodies
- Supervise program staff and coordinate interdepartmental health initiatives
- Stay current with public health policies and best practices through professional development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of program management experience in public health or healthcare setting
- Experience with grant writing and managing federal/state health grants
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel and statistical software
- Excellent communication abilities for community engagement and stakeholder collaboration
- Knowledge of Wisconsin public health regulations and healthcare systems
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
