Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health initiatives across Middle Tennessee
- Manage multi-agency partnerships with local governments and community organizations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and threats
- Oversee program budgets and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Lead crisis response coordination during public health emergencies
- Train and supervise health department staff on program protocols
- Prepare reports for state legislature and federal health agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public program management or healthcare administration
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficient in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical software
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance
- Valid Tennessee driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours during public health emergencies
