Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting underserved populations in San Antonio
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform program strategies
- Collaborate with community partners to coordinate outreach initiatives and resource allocation
- Prepare comprehensive grant proposals and manage federal/state funding allocations
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and recommend evidence-based improvements
- Present findings to stakeholders including healthcare providers and local government officials
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and Texas state health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and health information systems
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and fund management
- Strong understanding of San Antonio's diverse community health landscape
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish
- Valid Texas driver's license with acceptable driving record
