Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and inform program strategies
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare providers, schools, and non-profit organizations
- Prepare comprehensive grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Develop educational materials and deliver community presentations on public health topics
- Monitor program outcomes using KPIs and prepare progress reports for stakeholders
- Stay current on public health policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation or health policy
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and health information systems
- Strong grant writing and budget management experience
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills with diverse audiences
- Knowledge of Nebraska public health regulations and community resources
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean driving record
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
