Responsibilities
- Design and oversee community health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and prioritize resource allocation
- Collaborate with local healthcare providers, nonprofits, and government agencies to coordinate public health responses
- Develop grant proposals and manage program budgets to secure sustainable funding
- Conduct community needs assessments and prepare detailed program evaluation reports
- Lead health education initiatives and public awareness campaigns
- Monitor compliance with state and federal public health regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of public health program implementation experience
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation for field visits
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS) and GIS mapping
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and budget management
- Strong knowledge of CDC and Florida Department of Health guidelines
- Exceptional communication skills for community engagement and stakeholder management
- Ability to work independently while collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
