Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting vulnerable populations in Maricopa County
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and recommend intervention strategies
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with local health departments, nonprofits, and community organizations
- Manage grant-funded projects including budget oversight, reporting, and compliance
- Design and deliver health education materials and training sessions for community members
- Evaluate program effectiveness using quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback
- Advise policymakers on public health priorities and emerging health threats
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation or community health
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal/state funding processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with bilingual Spanish preferred
- Knowledge of Arizona public health systems and regulations
- Valid Arizona driver's license
