Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate public health programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Manage federal/state grant budgets and ensure compliance with reporting requirements
- Collaborate with community organizations to develop outreach strategies
- Analyze epidemiological data to inform program adjustments
- Present findings to city officials and community stakeholders
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health threats
- Mentor junior staff and interns in program management best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in government/nonprofit program management
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) preferred
- Proficient in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Experience with federal grant management (e.g., CDC, HRSA)
- Strong knowledge of Maryland public health regulations
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance for sensitive data access
