Responsibilities
- Design and oversee public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and needs
- Coordinate multi-agency initiatives for vaccination outreach and health education
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Develop grant proposals to secure funding for public health initiatives
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly
- Train staff and community health workers on program protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program administration
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willing to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong written and verbal bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Knowledge of Texas public health laws and Title X requirements
