Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved communities in Tarrant County
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with local health departments, NGOs, and emergency management teams
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and recommend intervention strategies
- Manage grant-funded projects including budget oversight, reporting, and compliance monitoring
- Lead community education initiatives on disease prevention and health equity initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state leadership and federal health agencies
- Train frontline healthcare workers on public health protocols and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation or healthcare coordination
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and health information systems
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or Emergency Management (EMT-P) designation
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and federal/state compliance requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build coalitions across diverse stakeholders
- Valid Texas driver's license and ability to travel throughout the region
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (highly desirable)
