Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting urban health disparities
- Manage federal/state grant budgets exceeding $500K with rigorous fiscal oversight
- Coordinate multi-agency coalitions including healthcare providers, community organizations, and local government
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health threats and inform intervention strategies
- Prepare comprehensive reports and policy recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead community outreach initiatives addressing health equity in underserved neighborhoods
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and state public health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years experience in public health program management or policy development
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software (SPSS, SAS, R) and data visualization tools
- Demonstrated experience with grant management and federal reporting requirements
- Strong knowledge of Chicago's public health landscape and community resources
- Exceptional written/verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholder audiences
- Valid Illinois driver's license and ability to travel citywide as needed
