Responsibilities
- Design and oversee public health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and risks
- Coordinate cross-agency partnerships with healthcare providers and non-profits
- Develop grant proposals and manage federal/state compliance requirements
- Lead community outreach initiatives and health education campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive program reports for legislative stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CDC, and state health regulations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public program administration experience
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Valid Nevada driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience with federal grant management (HRSA, CDC)
- Knowledge of Nevada Revised Statutes Title 41
- Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish highly desirable
