Responsibilities
- Develop and execute public health intervention strategies for underserved San Francisco communities
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and inform program adjustments
- Coordinate with community-based organizations to deliver culturally responsive health education
- Prepare comprehensive reports on program outcomes and compliance with state regulations
- Support emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Manage grant-funded projects with strict fiscal accountability
- Train frontline staff on evidence-based public health practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of program coordination experience in government/nonprofit settings
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS) and health information systems
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation for field visits
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish or Mandarin required
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state compliance reporting
- Certification in Public Health (CPH) strongly preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
