Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate emergency preparedness responses for public health threats
- Conduct community outreach and health education workshops
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve service accessibility
- Monitor compliance with state and federal health regulations
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field required
- 3+ years of public health program experience
- Valid New Mexico Public Health Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Advanced proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Experience with community coalition building and stakeholder management
- Knowledge of HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and NM public health statutes
- Excellent written communication skills for reports and policy briefs
