Responsibilities
- Lead epidemiological investigations for disease outbreaks and public health emergencies
- Develop and implement evidence-based health intervention programs targeting vulnerable populations
- Analyze public health data to identify trends and recommend policy improvements
- Coordinate with local health departments, hospitals, and community organizations
- Manage grant-funded public health initiatives and reporting requirements
- Conduct health education workshops and community outreach events
- Prepare comprehensive public health reports for state leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of public health program implementation experience
- Valid Ohio Public Health Sanitarian license or equivalent certification
- Advanced proficiency in SPSS, SAS, or R for statistical analysis
- Demonstrated experience with grant writing and federal reporting (CDC/HRSA)
- Certified in Incident Command System (ICS) and emergency response protocols
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with diverse stakeholders
