Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community wellness initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify health trends and prioritize intervention strategies
- Coordinate with local healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations for outreach campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive reports and grant proposals to secure funding for public health initiatives
- Conduct health education workshops and lead community engagement events
- Monitor compliance with public health regulations and recommend policy improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R) and health information systems
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with reliable transportation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- Experience with grant writing and federal/state health program compliance
