Responsibilities
- Design and execute evidence-based public health interventions for vulnerable populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and threats
- Coordinate cross-sector partnerships with healthcare providers, NGOs, and government agencies
- Develop educational materials and lead community outreach campaigns
- Monitor program compliance with federal/state regulations (CDC, NC DHHS)
- Prepare grant proposals and manage program budgets
- Conduct health assessments and recommend policy improvements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years experience in community health program implementation
- Valid North Carolina Public Health Specialist certification
- Proficiency in epidemiological software (e.g., Epi Info, SAS)
- Demonstrated success in grant writing and budget management
- Strong data analysis and report writing abilities
- Experience with community engagement in diverse urban settings
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive data access
