Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting underserved populations
- Conduct epidemiological surveillance and analyze health data trends
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Collaborate with community partners to address social determinants of health
- Manage grant-funded health initiatives and ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide health education through workshops and digital campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and state health agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Valid California Public Health Microbiologist certification
- Experience with SPSS/R for statistical analysis
- Knowledge of HIPAA and California health privacy laws
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to obtain CA driver's license within 30 days of hire
