Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity initiatives
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify community health trends and prioritize interventions
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and community organizations to implement health education campaigns
- Prepare comprehensive reports for city council and state health department stakeholders
- Manage grant applications and ensure compliance with federal/state health regulations
- Lead community outreach efforts to engage underserved populations in health services
- Evaluate program effectiveness using KPIs and recommend data-driven improvements
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Demonstrated experience with community health initiatives in urban settings
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA, CDC guidelines, and Minnesota health regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse stakeholder engagement
- Valid Minnesota driver's license with clean driving record
