Responsibilities
- Develop and implement evidence-based public health programs targeting community health disparities
- Conduct epidemiological investigations and disease surveillance for timely intervention
- Coordinate emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Lead community outreach initiatives to promote preventive care and health literacy
- Analyze health data trends to inform policy recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-sector partners to address social determinants of health
- Manage grant-funded projects ensuring compliance and measurable outcomes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and public health regulations
- Experience with community engagement and stakeholder management
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
