Responsibilities
- Design and implement community health outreach programs targeting underserved populations
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify emerging health trends and threats
- Coordinate multi-agency emergency response protocols for public health crises
- Develop educational materials and conduct health literacy workshops
- Manage grant-funded projects and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to improve access to preventive services
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness using quantitative metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public health program implementation
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or eligible for certification
- Proficiency in health data analysis tools (SPSS, SAS, or R)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
- Experience with grant writing and federal reporting requirements
- Valid Ohio driver's license and ability to travel citywide
- Knowledge of HIPAA and CDC protocols
